So seeing that I am going to get a full understanding of how ‘the cloud’ I figured I needed to find some good research on what makes an engaged employee and found a good article about the subject; you’ll see me reference it in this weeks paper. In this paper it outlines 26 tools for improved employee engagement (Jain, 2011). Aspects include communication, inclusion in decision making, feedback, rewards and recognition, life balance and others. I’ll be studying this in more detail so I can speak intelligently on engagement and the cloud.
